Max’s Weekly Tails 🐾 from Moorclose Community Centre
"Hello everyone, it’s Max here – your friendly chocolate cocker spaniel and Moorclose Community Centre’s resident storyteller! Each week, I’ll be sharing my adventures, the latest happenings, and a sneak peek at what’s coming up."
"... So, grab a cuppa, settle in, and let’s catch up on all the crack!"
What's Happened This Week
"This week Moorclose has been full of excitement! - From bustling events in the Sports Hall to heartwarming moments in our Food Pantry, there's never a dull moment. "
"I've met new faces, wagged my tail at old friends, and even snuck a treat or two (don't tell anyone!).
- I helped at the Lantern Workshop and made a dragon
- I did a shift on the Tombola with Tiff & Korben and then helped Linzi with the facepainting but wasn't allowed to help with the mince pie competition (sulked with Mam)! "
What’s Coming Up Next Week

My name is... MAX
"Looking ahead, there’s plenty to be excited about! Whether you’re joining us for a special event, popping in for support, or just fancy a chat, there’s something for everyone."
"OH MY GOODNESS on the 6th December 2025 at 12 noon we are planting the Sycamore Sapling from the wonderful and Sadly gone, Sycamore Gap tree. Everyone is coming even the Telly Lot!"
".... Mam says this is one tree I can NOT visit !?!"
".... Everyone is welcome to join us and there is a buffet & food afterwards – yum!"
" Lantern Parade Saturday 6th December 2025, (very busy day)."

".... We are all to meet at 5pm by the Minibus in the top carpark of Hall Park, opposite Park End Road. The parade starts at 5:30pm."

".... Hope they do food?"
Max's Crack & Community Gossip
"And now, for a bit of crack! Here’s what’s got tails wagging and tongues wagging around Moorclose:"
-
Enjoyed getting stroked at the Christmas Fayre, the Christmas baguettes were yummy? But the cake stall smelt divine!
-
Mam was very upset that someone knocked into one of our parents’ cars on our carpark and drove off. I think people like that are not nice!
-
Also please do not park on our wheelchair access at the very beginning of our carpark by our front door. My friend was stuck and couldn’t get out, and we missed them leaving otherwise I’d have said woof, woof. Please don’t park there.
